This training program helps you develop a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles. Through specific examples and a simulation-type case study, you learn how to use financial information in making evaluations and decisions that are directly related to your business. This program will not make you an accountant. Accountants are technical specialists engaged in accumulating and reporting financial information. 2. The similarities and differences between financial accounting and management accounting

  3. Basic concepts used in recording transactions

  4. Essential financial statements, including the Balance Sheet and Income Statement, and how to use financial information in decision-making

  5. Accepted principles for measuring financial performance, and the impact of financial decisions on a company’s financial performance
